HoroScopics 3.0 provides 23 types of Readings, Charts and
Tables and 34 sets of information for Signs, Planets and Houses.
Input name, date, time and place of birth and get sky conditions at the time of
birth. A Horoscope chart is printed (or on screen) showing Zodiac & positions in
sky of the Sun, Moon, and Planets. Astrological reading given for the sun, moon,
and each planet, for ascendant sign, oppositions and conjunctions, plus a table
of astrological houses with cusps and planets in each house. Table of aspects
gives planetary relations.
The data you input can be saved for later use to build up a library of natal information for friends, and relatives.
HoroScopics
provides a large database of both US and foreign cities with
latitudes and longitudes and time zones included. Thousands of cities are in the
data base for you to select from. While using the program you can call up this
database and easily locate the city of interest. Select city you want and data
for it will automatically be used by the program.
Natal charts are based on the Placidus and Equal House
systems. This places the ascendant at the 9 o'clock position and mid-heaven at
top. The planets are shown in the proper House. The nodes for each House are
labeled on the chart in degrees of the Zodiac signs.
Readings are provided based on the planetary positions in the Houses. For
further analysis, 3 types of sky configuration maps are provided. The altitude
/azimuth map shows the sky for birthplace. The heliocentric and geocentric maps
provide overhead views.
Selective output control lets you choose any combination of
pages of printed output and screens of information.
The astrological symbols for the signs of the zodiac and for each of the planets
are used in the charts and tables.
For the zodiac natal charts, the ascendant is at the correct
position (the 9 o'clock spot) and the zodiac zones are oriented accordingly.
Planet symbols are placed at the correct angular locations and the relative
distances from Chart with symbols for signs and planets and Earth.
Houses charts are done in a similar manner. For Placidus charts, the angular
sizes of each house are accurately drawn. Readings included for three additional
aspects. The Sextiles (60 degree separation). Trines (120 deg.) and Squares (90
deg.) aspects of the Sun, Moon and planets are given brief interpretations. You
can specify the orb to be used for aspects.
Screens such as Horoscope charts, can be saved as graphic files for later
viewing. These files can also be used in desktop publishing or other programs.
This allows for image processing or editing or to create documents using the
information from HoroScopics (for personal use only).
The text output of readings and tables can be output as standard text flies that
can be used in word processors or desktop publishing. You can edit the
HoroScopics information, add to or delete parts of it. You can use it by itself
or incorporate it into other documents. This makes it easy to do customized
astrological analysis with HoroScopics doing most of the work (for personal use
only).
