StatCalc - Learn and Use Statistics

To Learn and Use Statistics StatCalc is an integrated set of statistical functions in an easy to use package, for students to learn the basics of statistics as well as by experienced users. The functions of StatCalc include: Correlation and Regression (linear), Binomial Distribution, Normal (Gaussian) Distribution, Poisson Distribution, Chi-Square Distribution, Student's T Distribution, Data Handling Routine for Input/Output The data handling routine allows easy entry of data for storage and retrieval from disk and calculates basic parameters such as mean, median, standard deviation, maximum, minimum, range, chi-square value, and will sort the data. Displays data files for review or editing or for output to a printer.

User's manual provides an introduction to statistical theory with practical examples for each function of the program. Graphics capabilities for line graphs, histograms, scatter plots, and distribution function plots . Least squares straight line fitting for your data and plotting of line and data. You can also use non-linear curve fitting for 'best fit' curves for the data using a parabolic fit. Data files can be joined together. Take one set of data and add another set of data to it. Use files of up to 2000 single value data points or up to 1000 pairs. Export or import data using ASCII file format. Print graphs on a variety of printers.
