MoonTimes - Keep Track of the Moon

MoonTimes generates moon rise and moon set tables for any year (BC or AD) and for any location (latitude and longitude) on Earth. Get monthly reference tables output to the screen, or to a printer or to ASCII text files. Input latitude and longitude is saved from the last use of the program. Includes database of thousands of cities around the world. Just click on the city you want.

For any day, get a color graphical display of the position of the moon shown across the local sky (option to save to a graphics file). The moon is plotted at rise and set, and for every half hour between. The phase is graphically illustrated. You can add the features of the local horizon like mountains, buildings, etc. by specifying the altitude and azimuth points to be used. Handy for planning photos or moon-related events.

Calculates the phase of the moon for each day, the days and times of new moon and full moon, and horizon location, or azimuth, for when the moon rises and sets. Daylight savings is automatically used or can be over-ridden. Effects of refraction are included for precise rise/set times. Includes calendar.
